Opposites Attract

A while ago I painted a very small painting of a red apple in the green bowl.  I liked it so much I decided to add another apple and paint another one only larger.  

I just love the complementary colors.

I wanted to experiment with the same lighting, position and background but just change the subject matter.  All these pairs of fruit reminded me of the animals marching two by two onto Noah's ark.

It is great to get back in the comfort zone.  

We were gone for a while over Christmas and I tried my best at beach landscapes.  Not one of them will get posted....oh well.  

I took a lot of photos so I'll try again when I get the nerve up.
