Grannies Go For a Swim

I love the deep blue-green in these apples and the echo of that color in the background....it reminds me of the ocean. I've heard of bobbing apples.....but swimming apples? Yep...
Saw this on the DPW site. WOW! Only painting a year? Fabulous. Honestly, I wouldn't change a darn thing. What were you working with before oils? I'm a new painter, too, and find this to be the hardest thing I have ever tried to learn.
